(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

WELLINGTON, this day.

The president of the National Dairy Association has protested to the Minister for Agriculture against the decision that dairy companies shall pay 3Ad of the charge for cool storage of butter for export, which was previously borne by the Government. He points out the industry still requires assistance, as it has not yet arrived at that stage when it can be practically self-supporting.
