John Clancy was arrested this morning on a charge of being concerned in the Vivian-street brawl, -in which Holmes was seriously injured. Holmes has not yet recovered consciousness. The High' Levels Tramway Company has decided, to use the steam" cable system on the line, which is expected to be open for traffic in February. The sykem will be on the same lines as the Eoslyn tramway in Dunedin.
