TOKIO, August 18
The Japanese Admiral reports that'the Allied forces attacked Pekin on the east on the 15th.
The resistance was obstinate, but the Allies during the evening surrounded and rescued the Legations.
: The Japanese loss was1 100, and the Chinese 300. #
