WAIHI EXTENDED.

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

The Waihi Extended Company is making good progress with the new shaft, which is now down a depth of over 40 feet. The timbering is also being attended to, and besides the winding shaft there is also a ladder way. Tht water is not bad yet. The working in the Grand Junction may, however, make a great difference in this matter to the Extended when the former mine is in full swing.
