WELLINGTON, Sunday. A cable has been received from Lieutenant Tuckey.,of the Fifth ■ Contingent, statins that the Fourth and Fifth Contingents have arrived at Alafekin°\ having marched from Rhodesia. They°are to advance to Pretoria, where
the whole of the New Zealand Contingents are to be brigaded as a special New Zealand regiment ,by order of Lord Roberts.

Owing to the Thames-Auckland football match the welcome to Trooper Newdiek will probably be postponed until Saturday week.
