CONCERT AT THE ASYLUM.
A very succesful concert was tendered by a private party from town to the Inmates of the Avondale Lunatic Asylum on Thursday evening last. "Vocal solos were contributed by .Misses Wrlgloy, Jenkinson, Ellingham, Messrs Lee and Trebilcock. The two latter also sang a duet. Instrumental Items by Messrs Hodgson, Woods (banjos) and Campbell (whistles) were much appreciated. Elocutionary items by Mr Bullen and Mr Yates, and comic specialities by Mr Skerett evoked well merited applause.
