Sir,—Millions of the best and most civilised people of the world are in the United States, but they are heavily handicapped by others. Knowing a great deal about the United States, I feel sure you have said the right things In your loading article of 2nd August. You hnve struck the mail right on the head. It gave mo much pleasure to read it, and I hope It will find an echo throughout New Zealand.—l am. etc., AMERICAN.
