WAIHI JUNIORS DEFEAT OHINEMURI.

WAIHI, Saturday
Waihl Juniors won the match against Oliiuemuri this afternoon by 3 points to nil. Dury captained the visitors, ana Hay Waihi. A very strong wind was blowing. Mr Cornthwalte refereed, and gave general satisfaction. Ohinemuri won the toss, and had the wind in. tlieir favour and the sun at their bucks. The game was marked by opeu play and exchanges of kicks. In the lirst spell Waihl had slightly the best of it, though the blues nearly scored once or tw'ce. The second spell was fast and open, there being a good deal of line play through the strong wind. From a pass out by Hay at half to Howse, the latter made a good run, .scoring for Waihi. The major points were not added.
llowse played a splendid game nt wing three-quarter, as also did Hay (the half), A. Scott, Keogh, James, and Smith in the forwards. L»ury, for the visitors, played the best game.
