ADVERTISING AT THE TE AROHA SANATORIUM.
(To the Editor.)
Sir—l wish to bring under the notice of the Hot Springs Domain Board of Te Aroha the need,to.have rules for the benefit of those talcing the baths hung up in each bath-house, and cards intimating that you have a Hydropathic Specialist, who gives free adrice as to the judicious use. of the bath waters. I came here fully two weeks ago, and'tbok No. 2 bath. After two or three days' bathing, in the mornings more especially, they had the effect of introducing a terrible • giddiness. When I arose out of bed I was not able to stand, and had to hold on by the bed till I came to. "I afterwards consulted your Specialist, who advised me to give it up for a day or two, and take baths at 100 degrees. They certainly had the effect of decreasing the giddiness, as I felt better £very morning after. Thinking something might be wrong internally, I consulted Doctor Smith, who said it was No. 2 bath that had produced the .. mischief, it. being far tafihat for. me.
He ordered me to give up the baths altogether till I felt all right, and then to take them at 100 degrees. Now, had I known of your Specialist, I would have saved all this trouble. ; W That is the use of your having a Specialist unless you have notices up , all over your bath-rooms to that effect, i People visiting the baths frequently do j themselves more harm than good, as i what suits one wont suit another.— I am, etc., M. D. SPRUHAN. Hotelkeeper, Sydney.
