HARRISVILLE
Miss Harris, daughter of the Hon. Major Harris, M.L.C., has been organist, of the Harrlsville: Church, and has always taken great interest in church matters generally, so her many, friends decided on giving her something to show that her services had. been appreciated, and that they would feel her leaving them. The presentation, wMcn was made in a. very neat little speech by the Rev. Dobson, vicar for the district, tooK the form of a pair of very handsome cutglass jam dishes, mounted on a silver stand, with spoons to match. Major Harris, on his daughter's behalf, very suitably responded and thanked the people.fot their very handsome gift. A very pleasant evening was then spent In dancing and singing, songs being contributed by Mrs Hunter and Miss Scott, and a recitation by Miss Elliot^,
