A very enjoyable concert and dance was held in the Horseshoe Bush school-house on . the 16th in aid of tlie war funds. The programme was well i-endered by Mr F. J. Brooks, Mr J. M. Smith, Mrs Cross, Mr Honen, Mr G. Frost, Mr P. Porster, Mr W. E. Frost, Mr Honen, and H. F. Poster. After the items were rendered the room was cleared and an excellent dance took place. Mrs Sliortcliife provided refreshments in excellent style. The dunce music was provided by Messrs Frost and Coates. I A Press Association telegram states that the Colonial malls per Aorangi, Which left. Sydney on February 7, arrived at London on the 17th March, three days late. The colonial mails per Himalaya, from Melbourne February 1 . were delivered in London on March 17, one day early.
