CALICO SIGNS AND SIGNBOARDS.
(To the Editor.) i Sir,—At some of the large fires in Auckland years since it was found that calico signs and large signboards were a source of danger in conveying 'tire from one premises to another; of late they are very much on the increase in our leading streets, although il believe contrary to the city rcgulaj lions.—l am, etc., A WORD IN SEASON. !
