The Daily Mail states some of the rebels opposing the British troops in I North Cape Colony reopened the grave of Trooper MeLeod. an Aus- I tralian killed in the fighting around Colesberg, searching for loot. On opening the adjoining grave the searchers found the bodies of six Boers, and hurriedly closed the grave again.
