THEATROPHONE ENTERTAINMENT.

The Opera House will be occupied this evening, and also on Tuesday and Wednesday with Mr A. H. .Whitehouse's theatrophone, or Edison's perfected phonograph. A big- programme has been prepared for the occasion. Mr Whitehouse will be assisted by Mr G. M. Reid, baritone, who .will sing patriotic songs, including "The Ab-sent-minded Eeggav," and also by Mr A. Potter, tenor. The theatrpphqne has a cylinder nearly five, feet in diameter, and this enables it to emit a sound which can be heard in any placa of amusement.
