SATURDAY'S MATCHES
Local cricketers were again favoured with fine weather on Saturday afternoon, when the Cup matches were resumed at. the Auckland and Devonport Domains. In the Senior Grade United, batting' one man short, scored 148 against Auckland's 105 for i four wickets. C. Hay (32, not out), I). Hay (3:2), F. Clayton (22), and N. Lusk (29) were the chief scorers for United, ■while, J. Nicholson (45, not out) and C. Stone (21, not out) batted best for Auckland. I'onsonby scored I 121 against Gordon, (\Y. Mills, 38, M Saunders, 23, and I*. Saunders, 22), and captured three of their opponents' wickets for 35. At Devonport North Shore scored 140, while Parnell have.
