The Government House paddock, where the Exhibition was held, bears a very trim appearance now, and the erection of the big structure and removal has had the effect of levelling the ground, which was previously very unbroken. A new footpath under the frees has also been made to Government House, with entrance from nearly opposite the entrance to the Albert Park, which will no doubt be much appreciated by the vice-regal party in the future. A big substantial stable in brick has also been built for the accommodation, of the Governor s horses. Altogether the Executive of the Exhibition have reason to Jooic with pleasure at the way the grounds have been left.
