The principal demand on the Exchange to-day was for shares in Ohinemuri mining companies, but the only sale reported was in Ohinemuri shares, which changed hands at sixpence, call paid.- Crowns were wanted at 16/, Waihis at £10, and Waitekauris at £2. The demand for Talismans was not so strong to-day, buyers not cpioting at the noon . call.. In Thames stocks Queens were wanted at 4/1, and New Whaus sold at 4_d, Sales of Barrier Beefs were reported at 7/, with buyers left at G/11. Buyers offers for standard stocks showed no.change.
