The manager telegraphed yesterday afternoon: "''lntersected new reef, in the western crosscut, apparently two feet wide. Blue sulphides are showing- through the stone, and very fair dish propects have been obtained." WAIHI SOUTH. Shares in the Waihi South Company advanced in price to-day, being sold ■and still wanted at lid. This was due to the fact that the manager telegraphed to-day: "Struck a large body of water at 284 feet down. Same level as in the Waihi West, licet must be near at hand." WAIHI DIVIDEND. The London directors of the Waihi Company have notified Air Rose that, the next dividend declared will be at an increased rate. A dividend has been declared at the rate of 3/ per shore, payable on December'lst. Tins is the 27th dividend paid by the Waihi Company, making a total distributed of £468J500. '
