PARNELL.
Mr Frank Lawry had a successful meeting at the. Newmarket Hall last night, which was crowded. Mr J. M. Laxon (Mayor of Newmarket) occupied the chair. At the conclusion the candidate answered a number of questions. A vote, of thanks and confidence, proposed by Mr John MeColl, was carried unanimously.
Mr Hugh Campbell delivered a political address to the lady electors of the Parnell constituency at the Oddfellowis' Hall, Parnell, yeteterday afternoin.Mrs Ruck occupied the chair. There was a large attendance. On the motion of Mrs Johnstone, seconded by Mrs Kilgour, a hearty vote of thanks and confidence was unanimously tendered. A number of the ladies subsequently held a meeting to further Mr Campbell's candidature..
