Mr S. 11. Gollan litis purchased the 3-year-old colt Australian Star (by Australian Peer-Colors). Tlie Colt will fulfil his engagements a.t the forthcoming V.11.V. Meeting, and will then be shipped fo England.
It transpires that Mr Gollan was also negotiating for the purchase of the Cattilield Cup winner Dewey, but it is announced that business in that direction ha.s been declared off,
