DEATH OF MRS THOMPSON'

We have to announce with regret the death of Mrs Thompson, the wife of the, Hon. Thomas Thompson (Minister for Justice), at her residence, Mt. Eden, at twenty minutes to three o'clock this morning. Mrs Thompson had been ill for a, long time, and had been confined to her bed for the last five months, and suffered very much, but her end was a peaceful one. Owing to the. illness of Mrs Thompson the Hon. Mr Thompson had been unable to attend to his Parliamentary duties during the present session, and he will have the sympathy of the Auckland people in his bereavement. Mrs Thompson was 68 years of age at the time of her death. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Purewa Cemetery.
