HARBOUR BOARD.
The ordinary fortnightly meeting-, of the members of the Auckland Harbour Board took place this afternoon, when there were present Messrs M. Niccol, W. Gunson, J. Macky, J. H.Witheford, W. Philson, C. Gray, J. Thornes, A. Kidd, and J. Stichbury. As the Chairman (Mr W. J. Napier) was detained at the Supreme Court, Mr Malcolm Niccol presided.
Tiri Tiri.—lt was agreed to call for tenders for the signal staff and gear that is to be erected at Tiri Tiri next time the Hinemoa visits this port. Helping Hand.—Thjs Mission wrote asking permission to xise the vacant allotment near Queen-street for a tent mission at Christmas time. The request was granted.
