In the Warden's Court to-day, before Mr Bush, the following applications were granted:—lron Cap Company, Iron Cap Claim, Tararu; Whangainata Ciold Corporation, Luckj r Find Claim, Whangamata; Tairua Broken Hills, exchange of title of Broken Hills, Nos. 2, 3 and 4 Claims, Tairua; John Collins, G months' protection for new Mt. Morgan, Neavesville; S. C. Macky, permission to work Thames Claim 2 men for 3 months; Occidents Company, permssion to work the Oecdental Claim with 2 men for 3 months; May Queen Extended Company, permission to work the May Queen Extended Claini with 2'man for 4 months^ John Britt, Ballarat Claim, one man's ground, Waiotahi; A. T. Bay, permission to work Lord Kitchener Claim, Ohui, with 2 men for 4 months; Tairua Broken Hills, permission to -work the Broken Hills and Broken Hills, Nos. 2, 3 and 4 Claims, with 3 men each for 6 months; John W. Kyan, G months' protection for New Manchester Claim, Thames; J. Macky, permission to work the Adelaide Claim with 2 men for 4 months; Gloucester Company, permission to work the Gloucester and Gloucester extended Claims with 3 men each for 2 months; Henry Woollams, residence site, WaioTahi Creek; W. G. Cummings, prospecting license over 100 acres, Whangamata; Edward Byan, 6 months' protection for Puru Creek Claim, water-race and special site; Herbert Gordon, 6 months' protection for Day Dawn and , Day Dawn Extended Claims^ Neavesville.
The following applications were 'granted after being confirmed by the Minister of Mines: — H. E. Cooke, Thames Gold Special Dredging1 Claim; Thomas Crawford, Queen of__Beauty Claim, Thames; Herbert Cooke, Taupu Gold Special Dredging Claim; W. McGregor, Waiotahi - Caledonian Claim, Waiotahi; John McDonald, New Golden Point Claim.
Recdmmended: —Peter darken, Surprise -Claim, Puriri; W. C. Kelly, Tapu Dredging Claim, Tapu Creek.
Adjourned to the 19th:—Thomas Henderson and other tributers v. the Kuranui-Caledonian Company, claim £ 56 10/ for value of stone left in care of the Company's representative, which was stolen. . This is a test case, and if the tributers win. other, cases will follow. Adjourned to the 20th: Maxwell v, Dunlop, for dissolution of partnership and adjustment of accounts.
