LACROSSE.

Two matches were played on Saturday on the Domain, these commencing' the second round of■the championship competition. Pawnees tried conclusions with Mohawks, and after a fast game succeeded in defeating them by six goals to two. On the winning side the scoring was accomplished by McCoy (0), Bladder, Tizard. and Lundon; while for the Mohawks the two goals were shot by L. Chnllis and Anderson. Mr M. Folev acted as referee.

Iroquois tackled Dnkotahs,, bill were badly worsted in the encounter, the latter team running up the bigtotal of ten goals to a solitary one on the part of their opponents. Atkinson and Ward did the major share of the scoring, having four and three goals each to their respective credits while Hill obtained two and Coslett one. On behalf of Iriquois the one goal achieved came through the instrumentality of .1. McCoy. Mr Major carried out the duties of referee.
