ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.

Ail interesting match of Association football was played on the Domain last Saturday between teams representing Tabernacle and Beres-ford-street Sunday School. The play shown by both sides was good, considering the number of amateurs engaged, and the first spell ended without any score. Shortly after the beginning of the second spell A. McDougall scored first blood for Ceresford-strpet, and for a few minutes "Herrys" looked lilea adding to it, but Tabernacle rallying carried the play into opposite quarters, and L. Clark made the score even by a straight shot, the game ending in a draw —one all.

A letter addressed to the secretary of the Pirates Football Club is lying at the Star Office.
