(Before Mr T. .Hutchison, S.M.) Drunkenness—Three offenders were convicted and discharged, and another offender (on bail) who.did not appear was fined 5/ or 24 hours' imprisonment. ;Theft .of Shoes.—John -.Robertson pleaded hot guilty to stealing a pair of shoes from the Thames Hotel, value 8/., the property of Daniel Gotten. Accused said the bopts were" in the passage.—Sub-Inspector Wilson said accused took the shoes to a secondhand dealer. .He .was only arrested this morning at 10 o'clock, and he would therefore ask for a remand until to-morrow, which .'His Worship granted.
