At the Wellington Camera Club's Exhibition .some 600 pictures were on view, including; v few from nth or colonies. The judges took three 'Jays getting through them. The Camera Club secured H out of 22 principal prizes, Mr T, Pringle being the most successful exhibitor. The best picture in the exhibition was by Mr J. A. Higinbotham. GISBORNE, this day. A body, much decomposed, has been found on the hills at Nuhaka. It is supposed to be that of Mr W. P. Foreman, a settler, who mysteriously disappeared some 10 months ago. WESTPOHT, this day. The coal export for the week endIng June 17 was 11,251 tons 19 cwt, shipped as follows: —Westport Coal Company, 10,134 tons 4 cwt; Cardiff Company, 1117 tons 15 cwt. INVERCARGILL, Saturday. A fire this morning destroyed the back premises of Metzger's Hotel, Orepuki. A large quantity of stock and furniture stored during the building of the new premises was destroyed, also five valuable, horses. There are no insurances.
