The managing director reports': — During the week ending 16th June the No. 2 level has been extended a I distance of 21ft, making its total length 448 ft, and five sets of timber have been placed in position to secure the ground. Above No. 1 level work has been resumed in the rise, which is now. up to a height of 58ft ,and another 52ft of rising should effect connection with the surface. Here the lode measures fully 4ft in thickness, and the ore is all of good quality.
