At the Progress Castle Rock mine work of a very satisfactory nature is being carried on, and. when the property is more fully developed good results may be looked for. Another fifteen pounds of picked stone were secured from No. 1 reef above No. 3 level, which the manager lodged with the Bank of New., Zealand on Saturday morning. Tlie reef looks very promising..
