A SPANISH SEIZURE.
5000 RIFLES ON A BRITISH
YACHT,
SUPPOSED FOE CARLISTS,
MADRID, June 18.
The Spanish Government seized the British yacht Firefly. Five thousand chassepots- were found aboard . It is believed they were intended for the followers of Don Carlos.
[A chassepot is a kind of breechloading, centre-fire rifle, an improved needle gun.]
