It is intended to extend the contractor's drive a distance of 100 feet. The following tenders have been received for the work:McKenzie and party, 19/ per foot, with four men, 25/ per foot with six men; Howe and party, 19/ per foot with four men, 20/ per foot with six men. The tenders have been forwarded to Auckland for the consideration of the directors.
