SHAREMARKET.
Royal Oak shares were again asked for to-day on the Exchange at 1/8, but no sellers quoted. Bunker's Hill were easier, being sold at 2/6 with sellers left at 2/7, and no quoted buyers over 2/3. May-Queens sold at 6/8 and -were wanted at a shade under that figure. Crown shares were a bit firmer, 13/3 being offered, and buyers of Talismans advanced to 15/- without sales resulting. Whangamata Gold Corporation shares were also wanted at 3/6. In standard stocks 62/6 was offered for Westport Coal and 53/- for South British Insurance, ex div. Other stocks showed no alteration.
