THE 'STAR' CUP.

This match was completed yesterday afternoon, and as already stated was won by Major White. The conditions were seven shots at each of three ranges, 300, 500, and 600 .yards. The wiliner scored 30 the first range, 33 at the second, and 31 at the third, making a total of 94. He used the .303 rifle. Sergeant Maingay, of Te Aroha, who finished second to Mr Doughty in this match last year, filled the same position yesterdaj', and Mr E. Buchanan was third.
