UNITED ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL . CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Auckland United Association Football Club was
held at the Occidental Hotel last evening,
Mr Rees George presided. The annual report stated that the club had again won the shield for the fifth time in succession.
and the cup twice, the latter becoming the
property of the club. During the season 10 matches had been played, of which 9 were won, and 1 drawn, while the club . had scored 40 goals, against 13 scored . by the opposing sides. The balance sheet ~>howed a credit balance of £3 19/. Officers for the ensuing year were elected asunder: President, Mr Arthur Heather; vice presidents, as last year; captain. Mr V.'.J. Heather; hon, secretary anci treaS' \irer, Mr C. Heather; committee, Messrs T. Todd, A. Bellamy, W. Heather'; delegates to the association, Messrs R. Talbot and T. Todd. ■ The first practice will take place on the first Saturday in May,
