THE DISPUTE IN THE CART ING TRADE.

Yesterday afternoon the Board of Conciliation heard further evidence in the carters' dispute. The evidence of Messrs. E. Nieholl, of Itemuera, was taken; also that of J. Colick (of Parnell),. It was agreed to withdraw the names of Messrs, F. Dromgool and J. Todd, of Avondale. The following employers are cited, to appear tomo/row at 10 a.m.: Messrs S. Hall (Rocky Nook), Franklin (Lorne-st.), Wells Brothers (Devonport), Fendall (Devonport). It was expected at the outset that matters would soon be settled by the Board, but through the varied conditions of the carting1 trade many difficulties have cropped up. However, the Board hope to have their finding -ready to-morrow afternoon, and they hope- all interested will be present. Messrs Winstone, Wright, and Miller represented the masters yesterday.
