SARCOPHAGUS OF BISMARCK.

BAVARIA, March 4.

. Bismarck's sarcophagus, which is hewn out of Uhtersburg marble of a, clear pink' tint, is eight feet and nine inches long, four and one-half feet wide, and four feet t6h inches deep. The base on which it l» rests is of black, polished Syenite. Its style is known as romantic. The design is by a Hanoverian sculptor, SchOfbach. On the front of the sarcophagus is the epitaph which the great Chancellor composed for himself: 'A true German servant of the EmperOr William I.' .The sarcophagus now lies in the Bavarian Valley, where it was hewn, but during the > spring it will be removed to Friedrichsruhe.
