Guinane', the rider of Wait-a-bit in the Australian Cup, is under the impression that Bobadil interfered with him just after entering the straight, Wait-a-bit stumbling, and while not falling, Guinane is confident that the contretemps prevented him getting second place. - The last mile and a-h'alf in the Australian Cup was covered in 2m 38s. Iramoo looks a certainty for the Onkaparinga Hurdle Race at list 91b, including- a stone penalty after yesterday^ exploit. - ' Domino has incurred a-lOlb penalty for the Onkaparinga Steeplechase, making his impost 12st 121b. He displayed symptoms of lameness after the race yesterday. ; Commenting on the Australian Cup running, the 'Age' remarks that it was unfortunate that in making his run Bobadil somewhat interfered with Wait-a-bit, thus accepting Guinane's excuse for the inglorious display of the Ballarat horse. .
