The barque Lima was daily expected from Port Natal when the Ovalau left, to load copra for Europe.

The Tropic Bird arrived from San Francisco on the 16th February with the French mails.

The barque Colbert was loaded with Copra and ready to leave for Bordeaux on the 17th ult.

Donald and Edenborough's schooner Vaile has left on a trading cruise amongst the Tuamotus, and is expected back in time to catch the s.s. Ovalau in March.

The.French warship Aube left for Noumea and Sydney on the llth February, the officers and crew's time having expired. At the latter port she will be docked and overhauled.
