THE OVALAU.
The s.s. Ovalau arrived.rrom the Eastern Pacific early this morning-, after a quick round trip. Mr James A. Tubby, the purser, reports:—The Ovalau left Auckland at 6 p.m. on the 14th ult., and reached Rarotonga at 8 p.m. on the 21st; left on the 22nd at 11 a.m., and arrived at Papeete at midnight on the 24th; departed at 5 p.m. on the 26th, and anchored at Rarotonga at midnight on. the 28th; took departure for Auckland at 9 p.m. on the Ist inst., and arrived at 1 a.m. today. Experienced fine weather, with variable winds, from Tahiti to arrival.
