WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday.
At the ministerial session of the Wesleyan Conference the case of » young minister was considered, and it was decided that he should rest for one year. In representative session it was agreed to appoint probationers for Waihi, Dannevirke, Wanganui, and Roslyn, grants from the Home Mission, Fund being made in the last thre% cases; also, to appoint home missionaries at Huntly, Kuaotunu, and Cheviot. The following circuits were re. lieved from the obligation to support married ministers:—Tauranga, Matvern, St. Albans, Spring-ton, Waitara; and Waipawa. Church property <hie&t:'. tions were dealt with in the afterhbtin and in the evening the delegates were present at an oratorio rendered by t^e united Wesleyan choirs of the city aail suburbs.
