SWEEP PRIZES FOR NEW ZEALAND.

SYDNEY, March 6.
The first horse in the Newmarket Handicap sweep of the value of £4050 goes to Mr Seaton, of Otorohanga, Auckland, and the second horse, value £1215, to Miss Morgan, of Westport.
Acceptances for the Te Aroha races close to-night (Tuesday) at Mr W. Blomfield's office, Durham-street.
A Press Association telegram states that Castashore has been scratched for all engagements at the Wanganui Jockey Club's meeting.
The following are the weights for the Hawke's Bay Stakes of 500sovs (61; furlonps). to be run on the 17th inst.:—Altair, 8.13; Conqueror, 8.6; Oingo, 8.6; Tigress, 8.3; Hermosa, 8.3; Screwgun, 7.&; Ideal, 7.7; Seahorse. 6.12; Hastings, 6.12; Mistra, 6.9; Rosella, 6.9; St. Mark, 6.5; Tirade, 6.2; Black Jacket, 6.2.
