AUCKLAND RACING CLUB

| The monthly meeting of the Committee of the Auckland Racing Club was held 'yesterday afternoon.The following proSTammes were passed :-Takapuna J.U Winter, May 20, 24; Waihi Sports, March 6; Thames J.C. Autumn, March 29. Trainers' licenses were granted to W. Moberley and G. J. Comer. Jockeys' licenses ! were granted to G. J .Comer, J. Kelly, ThoP. Morrigan, E. McKee. An apprentice license was granted to H. Williams. W. Perry was given permission to work in a stable. The question of similarity of i racing colours worn by jockeys was disI cussed. It was resolved that when nomij nations are made the Secretary insist that [ dissimilar colours to those registered by I other owners be used.
