WESLEYAN CONFERENCE.

CHRISTCHULCH, Friday.
At the Wesleyan Conference today; the Revs. J. W. Griffin, J. Lochore, and T. R. Richards, probationers, were received into full connexion. The Rev. A. Ashcroft was continued on probation for another year. An interim report by the Century Commemoration Committee stated that all the quarterly meetings, except three, had agreed to the scheme.
The committee recommended that the Central Committee be-located in Christchurch, and that district committees be appointed. The, committee asked the Conference to approve of the principle's contained in clauses 1, 2,^ and 3, suggesting that lectures be given on the origin, principles, and history of Methodism, and tha.t there be special evangelistic and thanksgiving services. The report was adopted, and the Rev. C. H. Garland, of Isew Plymouth, appointed secre* tary.
The Conference agreed to a division of the Wellington Circuit,"' New* town with Kilbirne to form a sepa« rate circuit. t
