CRIMINAL SESSIONS.

WELLINGTON, Tuesday.

At the criminal sessions George McCombe (forgery), Edward Walsh (forgery, false pretences, and breaking- "and entering at Pahiatua), and Henry Sellars (breaking and entering at Palmerston North) all pleaded iruilty. McCombe was sentenced to tLree years and Walsh to two years. Cellars was remanded for the proba'ion officer's report. Kelly was convicted of manslaughter and remanded foi the report of the probation officer. NAPIER, 'Tuesday. At the Supreme Court Frederick De Lacey. an elderly man, was charged with indecent assault upon a girl, eight years of age. The jury failed to agree,, and after sitting four hours, they were discharged and a fresh trial ordered. The grand jury found no bill in the case of two young men, Green and Pocock, charged with indecent assault. The case against Arthur Blackwood, charged with obtaining good under false pretences. broke down, accusde being discharged. G. H. Ennis pleaded guilty, to stealing stamps of the value of .2 259, the property of the Government, and wa3 remanded till Thursday. Valdemar £ricks>en also pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, and was remanded for sentence. John Jenson Gicson, charged with forgery, was attorned to probation on paying £5 and costs.
