St. Albans A. v. West End.—St. _Al--ban's won by 60 runs. Scores: West End, first innings, 55; second innings, 37 (C. Grindrod 11, not out). St. Albans', first innings, 54; second innings, 3 wickets for 118 (J. Gavin 43, Wolstenholme 50, Walker 11). Bowling for St. Albans , J. Gavin took 6 wickets for 14, J. Roberts*4 for 22.
Giles' v. Wiseman'st—Giles', first innings, 85; second innings, 103 (Corbett 12, Smith 29, Olliff 20, Biss 19). Wiseman's, first innings, 104; second innings, 86 (Hancock 11, Hawkins, not out, 44). Wiseman's won by 5 wickets.
Belmont A. v. Auckland IV.—Belmoat, second innings, 81 (Cowan 10, Todd 13, Anderson 34, Parker, not out, 10). Auckland, second innings, 78 (Hemus 35, Hicks 10, Hamber 18). In Auckland's first innings Hemus made top score with 29, not out. Of the Auckland bowlers, Stichbury took 3 for 35, Hamber 3 for 34, Hicks 2 for 9. For Belmont, Anderson took 3 for 32, McKenzie 4 for 21, Gillespie 1 for 3.
St. David's v. V.M.C.A.—There is a disptite about the result of this match. St. David's claim to have won by 1 run, while V.M.C.A. contend that the match is a draw, the dispute arising through a bye being registered in the second innings by St. David's scorer and not by Y.M.C.A.'s. The scores are: V.M.C.A.," first innings, 66; second innings, 122. St. David's, first innings, 130; second innings, 59 (disputed by V.M.C.A. as being one run too many). Bowling for St. David's, H. Gunn performed the hat trick.
Belmont B. v. Newton.—Belmont in their first innings made 74 (Stitchbury 19, Goodman 31); and in their second innings 67 (Hill 27, and Stitchbury 13. Newton in their first innings made 35 (Koberts 12); and in their second innings 86 (Heath 25, Renwick and Rogers each 14). Bowling for Belmont, Hoare took 7 wickets for 16. Belmont won by 26 runs.
