A SENSATIONAL RESOLUTION
WASHINGTON, January 10. In the Senate Mr Hoar moved and the Senate supported a motion vesting provision in constitution empowering the Government to acquire colonies without the consent of the peoples affected.' The action of the Senate caused a profound sensation.
