The annual monster picnic of the Helping Hand Mission takes place this year at Henderson. Two trains capable of carrying over 2,000 people will leave the railway station on Monday morning for this beautiful piece of bush. The Mission Brass Band will enliven proceedings with several musical selections and in the afternoon a camp meeting will be held. Full particulars appear elsewhere.
Joseph Partington, of Symondsstreet, Auckland, was to-day adjudged a bankrupt upon the petition of James Wilkinson.
