AUSTRALIAN CABLES.
THE MOU^*T MORGAN COMPANY
BRISBANE, December 14
The Mount Morgan Company during the half year treated 107,560* tons of ore, yielding 54,0000z. This is below the average of any previous half-year, owing to the large quantity of lowgrades smelted, and the discontinuance of the treatment of ordinary grade stone from the lower works, consequent on the high cost of working. The report recommended entirely altering the ripper works, or closing them altogether, and constructing entirely new works.
