PERSONAL.

The Graf ton Road Wesleyan Church was the scene of a pretty wedding on November 4, Mr J. X. Ormiston being married to Miss Jessie Mary Main, youngest daughter of Mr G. M. Main, the well-known journalist. So well known were the bride and bridegroom thai; the church was crowded with friends. The Rev. W. dittos, uncle of the bride, read the marriage service, being assisted by the Rev. W. A.Sinclair, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. The church had been tastefully decorated in honour of the occasion with white flowers and beautiful foliage. As the party entered the sacred edifice Mr W. Caley played upon the oi'gan Lohengrin's 'Bridal March,' after which the choir sang- ' The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden.' The bride, who was given avvny by her father, wore an ivory white corded silk dress, trimmed with chiffon and orange blosSTrms, with the usual bridal veil and wreath, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. Miss Florrie Cooke and Miss Clara Ormiston, the bridesmaids, were attired in _ floral nrnslin costumes," over gold, trimmed with cream satin and gold chiffon, and wore picture hats, trimmed with buttercup ribbons and roses, and also carried bouquets of white and yellow. The bride was attended by her little niece, Miss Eileen Jones, of Bondi, Sydney, and Master Archie Tayler. The former wore a white silk dress, with white picture hat, and carried a basket of gold and white buttercups. Master Tayler wore a white pique sailor costume. The groomsmen were Messrs A. A. White and G. B. Main. As the. newly married couple left the Church Mendelssohn's ' Wedding March' was played by the organist. The bride was presented by the bride- ' groom with a handsome ruby and dipi mond dress ring, and each bridesmaid received a gold brooch. The employees of Messrs. Jas. Wiseman and Son, saddlers, Queen-street, presented Mr Ormiston, who is traveller for that | firm, with a handsome marble clock. | His employers also gave him an eleI gant silver dessert bowl. Other j friends sent numerous presents.
