THE GOVERNOR'S VISIT.
l.n connection with the visit of the Governor and Lady Ranfurly to Harnil--lon on Friday, the 25th inst., it has been arranged thr.t he shall be met there on arrival of special train from Rotorua at 1.20 p.m. by the Mayor and councillors and citizens, and presented with an address. A guard of honour from the Waikato Mounted Rifles will be provided. His Excellency and suite will be entertained at luncheon at two o'clock, at the Commercial.Hotel, to which forty invitations have been issued by the Mayor. His Excellency will be requested to lay the foundation stone of the Hamilton Public Library at :i o'clock, after wnich he will be taken for a drive into the country. In the evening* tne vice-regal party will attend a performance of 'Dandy Dick' in the Volunteer Hall. On Saturday morning they will leave by special train for Mercer at 9 o'clock to attend the regatta there, and in the evening they will come on to Auckland.
Lord Ranfurly has signified his intention of being present on the evening1 of the date of the Auckland Exhibition opening at the special concert arranged "for the occasion in the Choral Hall.
